Asked
Questions

What does a TC do?

A TC’s job involves coordinating with all parties involved in the transaction, such as the buyer, seller, real estate agent, lenders, title companies, and other third parties. They are responsible for ensuring that all paperwork is completed and filed according to local, state, and federal regulations, and that all deadlines are met. They also act as a point of contact for the real estate agent and their clients, ensuring that everyone is kept up to date on the progress of the transaction.

TC's make sure all of the I's are dotted and T's are crossed.

What is the difference between a TC and an Administrative Assistant?

A Real Estate Transaction Coordinator is responsible for managing the entire transaction process from start to finish. They work closely with buyers, sellers, agents, title companies, lenders, inspectors, and other parties involved in the transaction to ensure that the sale progresses smoothly and efficiently. Real Estate Administrative Assistants provide administrative support to real estate agents, but are not typically responsible for the entire transaction process.

TC's are transaction specialists, administrative assistants are generalists.
